How It Works

Cialis 40 mg works by relaxing the smooth muscles present in the walls of blood vessels. It helps to increase the blood flow throughout the body, including the penis. Known as a PDE 5 inhibitor, it blocks the action of the enzyme PDE 5 that stops the flow of blood and does not let erection to occur. Dosage

Doctors recommend consuming a single pill of Cialis 40 mg in 24 hours for men diagnosed with erectile dysfunction. Cialis comes in dosages of 5mg, 20mg, 40mg, and 60mg – the appropriate dose is prescribed by the doctors after understanding the needs of the individuals. This medicine can be taken with or without food. For best results, take the pill exactly one hour before any sexual activity. The effects of this medicine last for 36 hours. Do not consume more than one pill in 24 hours.
