How Finpecia 1mg Works
It contains the ingredient Finasteride that is a 5-alpha Reductase inhibitor. It works by blocking the effects of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase that converts the male sex hormone testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT binds with the receptors of hair follicles, disturbing their natural growth cycle and causing them to shrink. This leads to an enlarged prostate or hair loss in men. Finpecia 1 mg blocks the action of 5-alpha-reductase and decreases the amount of DHT in the body. This results in a decreased prostate size and an increase in hair growth on the scalp. The effects of this medicine last long only for the time the medication is taken.
